Out of Hours

What to do when we are closed

Enhanced Access

The ‘Out of Hours 111 urgent care service’ is available for patients who are concerned about their health and feel they need to see a doctor when their surgery is closed.

It is available Mondays to Fridays throughout the night between 6.30pm to 8am, and 24 hours a day on weekends and bank holidays.

When a patient calls 111 they will be asked questions about their condition and given a time slot to attend Prospect House, 121 Lower Street, Kettering, NN16 8DN, or may be advised to attend the Corby Urgent Care Centre if it is between 8am and 8pm. If the patient is terminally ill or housebound there will be doctors or nurses available who will come out to the house.

Corby Urgent Care Centre is on the Willowbrook Health Complex, Cottingham Road, Corby and is open 8 am to 8 pm 365 days of the year.

No appointment is necessary, but patients will be seen in order of clinical priority, so patients may have to wait if their condition is not as serious as others.

Life Threatening

Call 999 or go to A&E now if:

  • you or someone you know needs immediate help
  • you have seriously harmed yourself – for example, by taking a drug overdose

A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.
